Olivia Gomez, a dedicated Paralegal/Intake Specialist/Team Lead at Roybal-Mack & Cordova, brings over a decade of legal experience to our team. At our firm, we’re passionate about consistently exceeding our clientele and team’s expectations while contributing positively to our community. Olivia embodies this mission in every aspect of her work.

Olivia’s journey in the legal field began as a Legal Secretary at Socorro’s District Attorney’s office. Fueled by her passion for justice, she later transitioned to the Socorro County Magistrate Court, where she served as a Judicial Specialist. Her meticulous attention to detail and dedication to her work quickly earned her the esteemed position of Court Manager at the Torrance County Magistrate Court.

But Olivia’s passion for making a difference extends beyond the office. She enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones. Additionally, Olivia nurtures her love for nature by caring for her many plants and tending to her garden whenever the weather permits.

With Olivia on our team, clients can trust her dedication to excellence and her commitment to our mission. She brings a wealth of legal expertise and embodies the values of integrity, compassion, and community service that define our firm. Laura VanBibber

Meet Laura, a skilled paralegal who brings her passion and dedication to Roybal-Mack & Cordova, where we believe in working until we win. With six years of experience with our firm, Laura has proven herself a valuable asset in our pursuit of justice.

Before joining the legal field, Laura worked in healthcare, leveraging her Pharmacy Technician Certificate in various pharmacies, including serving on the med pass team at the Metropolitan Detention Center. Her diverse background includes earning double Bachelors in Criminology and Communications and Journalism, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Laura’s natural leadership abilities have been recognized throughout her career, leading to promotions to team lead and trainer positions. Her dedication to continuous improvement is evident in her ability to teach and train others, ensuring our team operates at its best.

Laura finds joy in cooking, baking, and staying active outside of her professional endeavors. She channels her creativity into home upgrade projects and enjoys shopping for new items. When it’s time to unwind, Laura indulges in reality TV, binge-watching Real Housewives, and pursuing hobbies like window tinting and family photography.

Cecilia Galaviz

Managing Paralegal

Meet Cecilia, a seasoned professional in the legal field who brings her passion and expertise to her role as the Lead Paralegal at Roybal-Mack & Cordova. Our firm is committed to continuously developing and harnessing our skills to provide superior service. Cecilia embodies this commitment in everything she does.

With experience dating back to 1993, Cecilia is a valuable resource for our firm’s paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative staff. As the Lead Paralegal, she oversees operations and fosters the development of our paralegal team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring aligned with our firm’s values and objectives. Her leadership extends to training and nurturing team leads, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Cecilia’s expertise shines through in her meticulous approach to drafting and filing pleadings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. She handles client communications, manages discovery requests and responses, and meticulously prepares case files for hearings.

Beyond her responsibilities, Cecilia organizes attorneys’ hearing calendars and deadlines, facilitating timely and effective case management.

Outside of work, Cecilia cherishes time with her family, enjoys movies, and explores the beauty of the bosque. She also finds joy in dancing, reading, baking, and the art of cake decorating, embodying a well-rounded approach to life beyond the legal realm. Marka Trujillo

Director of Fire Operations

Marka Trujillo is our Hermits Peak/Calf Canyon Fire Team director. Marka is a native New Mexican from Santa Rosa, New Mexico, who completed her Bachelor’s degree at New Mexico Highlands University in 2015. She retired in 2021 from New Mexico Highlands University after 28 years in Human Resources & Payroll. Marka brings with her vast experience in customer service and organization. Marka is deeply committed to both San Miguel & Mora County residents and providing them with any assistance they may need as the fires deeply impacted her and her family, and she understands firsthand what the fire victims are going through.

Adrienne Delgado

Case Manager

Adrienne is a diligent case manager at Roybal-Mack Law. Her primary responsibility is collecting vital information to assist clients with their cases. Adrienne pays close attention to detail and is committed to providing excellent service. She ensures that all necessary data is gathered accurately and organized effectively to support legal proceedings. Adrienne is responsible for meticulously processing, maintaining, and distributing documents, files, and case materials.

Before Roybal-Mack & Cordova, Adrienne served as a Judicial Specialist at Ninth Judicial District Court in Las Vegas, NM. She provided valuable customer service information to a high volume of self-represented litigants, offering general procedural guidance while refraining from giving legal advice.

Apart from her career, Adrienne is an active member of the community. She played softball for four years in RHS Softball and continues to engage in community league softball. She also served as Secretary for the San Miguel/Mora County Fair Association and took on the role of Mayordoma for San Acacio Mission Church. During her academic years, Adrienne was involved in 4H, FFA, and MESA and served on the Student Council.

Jessey Martinez

Case Manager

Meet Jessey R. Martinez, a passionate Case Manager committed to positively impacting people’s lives. Jessey has a solid educational background and diverse professional experiences, which bring a unique perspective and skill set to the practice. Jessey interned with the Gallegos Law Office in Las Vegas during college, where they showed exceptional talent and dedication. After that, Jessey worked as a legal assistant to Chico Gallegos, where they dealt with a wide range of cases, including public defender cases, private criminal cases, guardian ad litem cases, and family and property law matters. This experience gave Jessey invaluable insight into the legal system and deepened their commitment to advocating for justice and fairness. When Jessey is not working, they love to paint. Jessey is a talented oil painter and entrepreneur who founded Exhibit 518 Ltd. Co. after the Hermits Peak Calf Canyon fire. They showcase their vibrant and expressive acrylic and oil paintings, reflecting their colorful life perspective. Jessey’s family is everything to them, and they love spending quality time with their husband and four children. Jessey’s love for art and desire to make a difference drives them to continue pursuing their passion for justice and creativity inside and outside the workplace.

Le-An Pino

Case Manager

Le-An Pino is a Case Manager at Roybal-Mack & Cordova. She has gained valuable experience from her previous role as a Behavioral Management Specialist at Agave Health, Inc. Her work mainly involved assisting adolescent clients in developing and implementing behavior plans. Her dedication and leadership skills earned her a supervisory role where she managed cases, supported BMS Providers, and maintained communication with various agencies and programs to ensure the well-being of her clients.

Le-An is pursuing an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. She intends to continue her education at New Mexico Highlands University in the fall of 2023, working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education/Elementary Education. Le-An has also actively participated in the Teen Outreach Program through the Northeast Regional Education Cooperative, where she facilitated middle and high school students.

When not working, Le-An enjoys spending quality time with her family. As a mother of four, she loves hosting gatherings at home and cherishes moments spent with her loved ones. She also enjoys cooking and preparing meals for her family and guests.

Loretta Roybal

Director of First Impressions

Meet Loretta, our Director of First Impressions at Roybal-Mack & Cordova. With a diverse background and a wealth of knowledge, Loretta brings a unique perspective to her role.

Loretta’s career journey began in the corporate sector, where she served as an Accounts Payable Clerk for an Oil & Gas company. Later, she transitioned to Roybal’s Septic Service, where she spent 25 years as the Office Manager, honing her administrative and managerial skills to ensure smooth operations. After her time in the private sector, Loretta dedicated another 25 years to public service as a Social Worker at the Children, Youth & Families Department. Her passion for helping others and advocating for the community allowed her to make a meaningful impact on the lives of countless families.

Furthermore, Loretta served in the US Army Reserves in the Finance division for six years, showcasing her commitment to serving her country. Loretta is also actively involved in the community. She has served as a board member for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, demonstrating her dedication to making a difference beyond the workplace.

Loretta enjoys spending quality time with her family, pets, and friends outside of work. She also indulges in good audiobooks or movies in her free time.

With Loretta’s warmth and dedication, our reception area becomes more than just a desk – a welcoming space where every visitor feels valued and cared for.

Reina Pacheco

Client Services

Reina Pacheco is the first friendly face you will be greeted with at Roybal-Mack & Cordova. Reina brings a solid educational background in mathematics and curriculum development to her role, enriching our team with her adaptability and willingness to learn.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, Reina’s expertise extends beyond her administrative duties, providing valuable insights and perspectives to our team.

Outside of the office, Reina enjoys a variety of hobbies, including crocheting, fishing, and indulging in some well-deserved rest. Like many, she also enjoys unwinding with TV shows and the occasional shopping spree.

With Reina’s dedication and passion for what we do, we continue to uphold our mission of serving families with excellence and care.

Anna-Marie Leger

Receptionist

Anna Marie Leger is a proud native of Las Vegas, New Mexico, where she currently serves as the receptionist at the Las Vegas office of Roybal-Mack & Cordova.

Anna Marie graduated from Robertson High School and is expected to graduate in 2025 from New Mexico State University with a degree in Agriculture Biology. While at Robertson High School, she distinguished herself as a high achiever, being a member of the National Honor Society and serving as the Chapter President of the National FFA Organization. Her dedication and commitment to excellence were further demonstrated through her achievements as a National Agriculture Sales Bronze finalist and as the Food Science district champion.

Bryan Trujillo

Field Supervisor

Meet Bryan, our friendly Maintenance Supervisor at Roybal Mack-Cordova. Bryan’s career at New Mexico Highlands University spanned three decades, during which he served in various capacities, including maintenance, shipping & receiving, and campus police. His extensive experience in maintenance has uniquely equipped him with the knowledge and expertise to oversee our maintenance operations.

Bryan’s true joy comes from spending time with his friends, family, and especially his grandchildren outside of work. He finds solace and rejuvenation in camping, fishing, and ranching, where he can connect with nature and the outdoors.

With Bryan’s wealth of experience and passion for his work, he brings a sense of dedication and warmth to our team at Roybal Mack-Cordova, ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and our environment is welcoming.
