Four of the Santa Fe Fire Departments upper level employees have claimed the city owes them nearly $148,000 in unpaid overtime dating back to 2009.

Albuquerque attorney Antonia Roybal-Mack wrote in a news release that four of the departments battalion chiefs Reyes Naranjo, David Sandoval, Martin Sena and Mary Cassidy had not been paid for a total of a combined 5,531.86 hours worth $147,973.  The fire departments other battalion chief, Carl Crook, is not included in the letter.

Roybal-Mack wrote that the chiefs have sent a demand letter to the city asking for back pay, but that she has yet to file a lawsuit because she is hoping that city will pay her clients the overtime.
